Records Relating to Arizona State University Indian Community Action Programs, (a series). 1965-70.

These reports, press releases, CAP grant statements, and press clippings document the activities of the Arizona State University in providing training and technical assistance to Indians on reservations under the Indian Community Action Programs. In 1965 this university and the Universities of Utah and South Dakota formed a consortium for this purpose, which was later joined by the Universities of New Mexico and Wyoming and by Bimidiji State College of Minnesota. By 1970 the programs for Arizona administered by ASU were made the responsibility of the Arizona Affiliated Tribes, Inc., which was to provide service to all Indian reservations, except the Navajo reservation, through representatives of the reservations.
